Wow! That was one hot read! I love stories about couples who are friends first...being friends first works especially well in short reads. It makes it so much more believable when they finally get together. I really loved that Melody was this beautiful and athletic woman--some may call her a tom boy--she could charm the pants off any man with a sexy look one minute and kick his ass on the basketball court the next minute. Love it!!
I sometimes have a problem with short reads because they typically lack character development and the story often suffers because it is too rushed. I did not feel that way with this story. I thought the authors did a great job focusing on what was important and didn't litter the story with a lot of unnecessary details. I really thought it was fantastic. I cannot wait to see what Team Cole/Chase has in store for us next.
